Today, we are officially launching Google Pay support for online transactions on PayRex. Businesses in the Philippines can now accept fast, secure, and familiar payments directly within their websites and web apps.

A faster online checkout, built in

Online checkout is where conversion is won or lost. With Google Pay on PayRex, customers can complete payments in just a few clicks using the cards saved in their Google account. The result is a streamlined, mobile-first checkout that reduces friction and helps customers complete their purchase faster.

Built for web integrations

Google Pay on PayRex is designed specifically for online use cases, whether you are embedding a payment on your website with PayRex Elements or using hosted payment pages such as Checkout, Pages, or Billing Statements. It works seamlessly with PayRex Elements and PayRex-hosted flows so that you can add the Google Pay button directly into your existing checkout experience. Payments made through Google Pay follow the same lifecycle as card payments on PayRex; from authorization to capture, refunds, and reconciliation, so your backend stays consistent.

Secure by default

Security is built into every transaction. Google Pay uses tokenization to ensure that sensitive card details are never exposed during the payment process. Combined with PayRex’s PCI-compliant infrastructure, this means you can offer a secure checkout experience without handling raw card data. When additional authentication is required, flows such as 3D-Secure are handled seamlessly within the payment experience, keeping users on a single, uninterrupted journey.

From sandbox to production in days

Getting started with Google Pay for online payments is straightforward.

You begin in a test environment, integrate card payments, and enable the Google Pay button from the PayRex Dashboard. After a successful merchant onboarding, you can move to production and start accepting live payments. Most teams can go live in just a few days.

Optimized for conversion

Online businesses live and die by checkout performance. By removing the need for manual input and leveraging a familiar payment method, Google Pay helps reduce drop-offs and improve completion rates, especially on mobile devices, where typing card details can be a barrier. It is a small change in your checkout, with a big impact on conversion.

Built for the Philippines, ready for growth

PayRex is designed for businesses operating in the Philippines, from startups to large enterprises. With Google Pay for online transactions, you can offer a globally trusted payment method while keeping your operations simple. Reporting, payouts, and reconciliation all remain centralized in PayRex, so your team can focus on growth, not complexity.

Start accepting Google Pay online today

Google Pay for online payments is now available to existing PayRex merchants. If you are already integrated, you can enable it directly from your dashboard. If you are just getting started, you can be up and running in minutes.

Build faster. Move money smarter.

With PayRex and Google Pay, your online payments just work. Get started now.
